Compact Cpw‐Fed UWB Slot Antenna with Triple Band‐Notched Characteristics

Abstract: the passband edge-see Figure 7. For the cases of less-steeper transition, simulated reflectance in the passband could be even as good as 220 dB in maximum. Thus, the capacitors offer a way of tuning the filter and adaptation to specific requirements. With modern digitally tuned capacitors available, this creates a possibility to remotely modify the filter during its operation, what is a necessity, for example, in a fully software defined radio.A second possibility of tuning the filter is through changing the h… Show more

“…Here, the dual notched band characteristics have been included in designing the antenna by using a thin ground plane of L shape, vertical I-shaped rectangular slot in patch radiation (Shinde and Mishra, 2013) and using stepped stub impedance (Li et al, 2014). Subbarao and Raghavan (2013) present that the triple notched band characteristics have been included in antenna design by using Complementary slit ring resonator (CSRR), slot of C-shape, SRR and slit in L-shaped in ground-plane as stated in the work of Subbarao and Raghavan (2013). Vendik et al (2017) present that the triple notched band characteristics have been included in designing the antenna by using electric ring-resonators.…”

“…Dual notch band characteristics is incorporated in the designed antenna by using L‐shaped thin ground plane and rectangular vertical I‐shaped slot in radiating patch and by using stepped impedance stub . Triple notch band characteristics is incorporated in the designed antenna using C‐shaped slot, pair of complimentary split‐ring resonator slot, and L‐shaped slit in the ground plane . Triple notch band characteristics are incorporated in the designed antenna using electric ring resonators .…”
