Comparative Study of Coronary Angiographic Findings Between Diabetic and Non Diabetic Patients

Abstract: Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the most important manifestation of diabetes mellitus. Objectives: To assess the extent of CAD in diabetic and non diabetic patients undergoing coronary angiography. Materials and Methods: 793 patients with suspected CAD, 202 diabetics and 591 non-diabetics were enrolled in the study. All patients underwent coronary angiography.
