Comparison of preoxygenation efficiency with Intersurgical Economy and Intersurgical QuadraLite anaesthetic face masks

Abstract: Background. Sufficient preoxygenation prevents arterial oxygen desaturation prior to intubation. An optimally sealed facemask is necessary for fast preoxygenation.
