This paper put forward an indirect method to measure the road irregularities of the monorail. Parallel computation, fused with the genetic algorithm, is used to calculate road irregularities and detect wheel failure. By intelligently modifying the vehicle parameters, the multi-rigid body model's simulation result could be close to the test data. This method overcomes the problem that the transfer function cannot be applied to the nonlinear system and the shortcoming of significant errors in the simplification process of the mathematical derivation method. Besides, it improves the traditional algorithm to shorten the calculation time and benefit big data processing. The application of the artificial intelligence method, which includes the intelligent detection of the wheel eccentricity, the brilliant weighing of human subjective judgment, the intelligent matching of the peak frequency signals of the simulation and test data, and so on, could be the highlights of this paper. The result shows the road irregularities calculated in this paper are in good agreement with that theoretical value.
