Comparison of the EMG in Normal Test Subjects, Hemiparetic Patients and Parkinson Patients; with Special Reference to Changes in Response to Fatigue

Abstract: A study was made of the EMG in 20 normal test subjects (10 men and 10 women), 10 hemiparetic patients with a pyramidal syndrome, and 10 Parkinson patients. Under standardized conditions, a constant tension of 2,000 g was exerted with the adductor pollicis muscle during 60 sec.
