These findings are similar to the findings from Brown et al (2007), where participants were asked if they were aware of the existence at the Izaak Walton Killam (IWK) Health Center of a policy established in 1999, about TCAM that addressed the use of invasive and ingested TCAM therapies, 80% of the participants did not know that such a policy existed.
