Complete mitochondrial genome sequence ofLabriocimbex sinicus, a new genus and new species of Cimbicidae (Hymenoptera) from China

Abstract: Labriocimbex sinicus Yan & Wei gen. et sp. nov. of Cimbicidae is described. The new genus is similar to Praia Andre and Trichiosoma Leach. A key to extant Holarctic genera of Cimbicinae is provided. To identify the phylogenetic placement of Cimbicidae, the mitochondrial genome of L. sinicus was annotated and characterized using high-throughput sequencing data. The complete mitochondrial genome of L. sinicus was obtained with a length of 15,405 bp (GenBank: MH136623; SRA: SRR8270383) and a typical set of 37… Show more

“…It revealed the sister-group relationship between P. tianmunica and L. sinicus, and then the two species together as the sister group of Trichiosoma þ Asitrichiosoma. This confirmed the results based on cox1 fragments in Yan et al (2019). All related files in this study have been uploaded to figshare (https://figshare.com/projects/Praiatianmunica/83591).…”

“…An interval region (31 bp) between trnH and nad4 was found by assembling T. vitellina using nad5 (1714 bp) and L. linealis as references. Labriocimbex sinicus Yan et al., 2019 and T. anthracinum Forsius, 1930 were utilized as references with the mean depth of coverage across the sequences of 2901 and 55208, respectively, to verify the above results. Annotations were generated in the MITOS web server (Bernt et al.…”
