“…According to WHO Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical classification system (ATC), the drugs fell into following groups: digestive tract and metabolism (group A, 118 prescriptions, 11 different drugs), blood (B, 232, 9), cardiovascular (C, 293, 24), dermatologicals (D, 2, 1), genitourinary (G, 12, 2), hormones (H, 16, 3), anti-infectives (J, 84, 14), antineoplastics (L, 9,5), musculoskeletal (M, 16, 3), nervous (N, 69, 12), respiratory (R, 26, 3), and various (V, 6, 1). Top 10 used drugs were: enalapril (in 65 subjects), potassium chloride supplements constituting of oral powder and intravenous solution (62), metoprolol (49), normal saline infusion solution (47), furosemide (45), glucose isotonic infusion (32), Hartman's solution (32), aspirin (27), cefuroxime (25), and aminophylline (23).…”
