Concentric Bodies in Conidia of Monodictys Anaptychiae (Hyphomycetes)

Abstract: Monodictys anaptychiae (Lindau) D. Hawksw. is a rare lichenicolous hyphomycete that parasitizes the common and well-known Anaptychia ciliaris (L.) Korb. The teleomorph of M. anaptychiae is not known, but Samuels (1980) has reported that Ohleria brasiliensis Starback (Dothideales) has a Monodictys anamorph. Monodictys anaptychiae was hitherto certainly known only from the type-collection, and the present rinding is thus not only a new record for Sweden but the first modern collection known.
