For H L 1 2‐(1‐methylhydrazinyl)‐1Hbenzo[d]imidazole [47] (64.6 mg, 0.4 mmol) and 2‐hydroxy‐5‐tritylbenzaldehyde (145.7 mg, 0.4 mmol); for H L 2 2‐(1‐methylhydrazinyl)‐1Hbenzo[d]imidazole (129.2 mg, 0.8 mmol) and 2‐hydroxy‐5‐tritylisophthalaldehyde (156.9 mg, 0.4 mmol) were transferred to two‐necked round bottom flask equipped with the reflux condenser that was previously flushed with argon. 10 mL of absolute ethanol was added via syringe and the mixture was stirred on magnetic stirrer, resulting in formation of transparent yellow solution.…”
