In today's society, science and technology are developing rapidly. In the actual production industry, information technologies such as computers and the Internet occupy an important position. Nowadays, there is a lot of room for improvement in the convenience and diversity of management in many production locations and the degree of intelligence in the production process, which is difficult to meet the requirements of today's informatization and intelligence in the production industry. This paper studies the intelligent manufacturing execution design of the gear industry based on the Internet of Things technology, and proves that the production efficiency will be greatly improved after the integration of the Internet of Things technology into the gear manufacturing industry chain. For this research, a series of investigation experiments were conducted. First, the important position of the Internet of Things technology in today's information society and its practicability were fully analyzed, and then combined with the intelligent manufacturing of the gear industry, the analysis was carried out to illustrate its feasibility. Secondly, it analyzes the characteristics of gear manufacturing and considers the materials that it needs to select during manufacturing. In the application model of gear production under the Internet of Things technology, a multi-objective optimization mathematical model is used to calculate the energy efficiency of gear intelligent production. Smaller costs get greater benefits. In the experiment, the FM-700e digital micro hardness tester was used to test the gear hardness to analyze the product quality. At the same time, the error rate of the product when the Internet of Things system is added to the gear production and when the Internet of Things technology is not added, the result is After integrating the Internet of Things technology, the error rate of gear production is reduced by 1.45%, which greatly improves the production efficiency of gears and makes the gear industry more intelligent manufacturing.
