Connaître, comprendre et combattre les risques dans les mines de combustibles minéraux (bassin de Bourgogne-Nivernais, 2 e  moitié du XIX e  siècle)

Abstract: En cas d’accident dans une mine, l’administration des mines peut être amenée à inspecter les lieux, afin de comprendre son origine. Au terme de l’enquête, le contrôleur des mines rédige un procès-verbal d’accident, source essentielle de l’histoire des techniques minières. En effet, l’iconographie, si fournie pour les installations de surface, reste l’exception dès que l’on aborde les travaux du fond.
