Abstract: Moderate and high altitude subject the individual to a hostile environment, for which one has to adapt. Hypobaric hypoxia causes a reduction in blood pressure of oxygen, which causes a significant decrease in the ability to produce energy, reducing the maximum consumption of oxygen.
