Considerations for the Administration of the Province Pontus et Bithynia during the Imperial Period

Abstract: Abstract:Although the province of Pontus-Bithynia formed the northeast boundary of the Roman state, it was governed as a senatorial province for a long time. During the historical process until Trajan's reign the Roman governors appointed to the province of PontusBithynia were proconsules at the level of praetor.
