Constitutional status of local self-government in Serbia

Abstract: Сажетак: локална самоуправа у Србији је ниво власти који има дугу традицију. Локална власт је еволуирала од институције обичајног права до уставног права грађана којим се ограничава државна власт. Уз исто-ријску преглед, теоријски и компаративни осврт, у раду се посебно анали-зира положај локалне самоуправе по Уставу од 2006.
