Abstract:Abstract. In this work we present a contamination detection methodology for water distribution networks. The proposed detection method is based on chlorine sensor measurements, which are compare to certain computed upper and lower periodic bounds. The bounds are computed using randomized simulations aimed at capturing the variations in chlorine concentration due to the significant uncertainty in the water demand patterns, average nodal consumptions, roughness parameters and reaction coefficients. The proposed … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
