“…A content analysis of articles published in IRGEE up till 2009 was published in Volume 21, Issue 1, by Gillian Kidman and Fivos Papadimitriou. The findings of the content analysis of 526 papers showed that there had been more articles on geographical education than those related to environmental education (Kidman & Papadimitriou, 2012). Researchers were also becoming interested in themes on "syllabi, textbooks, curricula" and "values and attitudes" as well as topics such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and sustainability.…”
