Abstract:In this talk, we report theoretical studies on the K * 0 Σ + (1190) photoproduction in the tree-level Born approximation, employing the effective Lagrangian method. We present the energy and angular dependences of the cross sections. It turns out that the N * and ∆ * resonance contributions are negligible in the vicinity of the threshold. On the contrary, we observe that the κ and K exchanges in the t channel and ∆(1232) in the s channel dominate the scattering process, reproducing the experimental data qualit… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
