“…Urodynamic studies in non-human primates (rhesus monkeys) showed that telemetric and continuous monitoring of detrusor pressure is more physiological and more accurate than conventional urodynamics [14]. They were able to show that, at 6-8 weeks after implantation, investigated variables (frequency, volume, maximum flow rate [Q max] , maximum detrusor pressure [P det max ]) approached the values before implantation [15].
