“…However, it is hoped that the archive will also create awareness of the value of these ephemeral items within the specific community that it aims to service and record. The WANMA project presents an opportunity for the convergence of digital humanities theory and digital library practice, as identified by Siemens, Cunningham, Duff, and Warwick (2011) and Zhang, Liu, and Mathews (2015), resulting in an archive that, it is hoped, will prove to be a useful, adaptable and relevant tool for music research broadly, and specifically for the community that it seeks to recognise and represent.
