Higher education students are frequently required to assess lecturers with a convenient, fast, and anonymous learning management system. Following the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (UiTM) adopted a remote teaching and learning approach. This study examined how lecturers’ professionalism, course impression, and facilitating conditions at UiTM affected undergraduate and graduate students’ remote learning pre- and mid-pandemic. The higher prediction accuracy of the model demonstrated that students’ remote learning activities were highly related to lecturers’ professionalism, course impression, and facilitating conditions. The structural model demonstrated that the t-statistics of all measurement variables were significant at 1%. The strongest predictor of students’ enjoyment of remote learning pre- and mid-pandemic was lecturers’ professionalism. In the importance-performance matrix, lecturers’ professionalism was in the quadrant for ‘keep up the good work’. Facilitating conditions and course impression did not require further improvement even during the pandemic. The influence of remote learning was demonstrated in the students’ graduation rates and grades. The results also presented theoretical and practical implications for the UiTM hybrid learning plan post-pandemic.

The research entitled Student Analysis of Differences Perceptions on Professionalism of Lecturer in Palembang. The purpose of this research is to know the perception of student to professionalism of lecturer in vocational and academic education. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires using 5 Likert scales. Sampling using purposive sampling. Analytical technique used is Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results obtained in this study is there are significant student perception to professionalism of the lecturers, in terms of knowledge, skill and personality. The implication of this research is to be effective, lecturers need a combination of professional knowledge and specialized skills as well as their own personal qualities and experiences.

In an effort to improve the quality of higher education, it is necessary to find the main predictors or determinants of the quality requested. One of the indicators is alumni satisfaction. Therefore, the problems of this research are to determine the satisfaction of the Educational Management Program alumni and to examine the variables, facilities and infrastructure, professionalism of lecturers, and curriculum relevance, which determine the alumni satisfaction. This was an ex-post facto study. The research design used an ex-post facto method because this method aims to find causes that allow changes in behavior or phenomena, in this case alumni satisfaction with the teaching and learning process. The study data was obtained from the alumni of the Educational Management Program who currently work in one selected regency. A total of 36 alumni were involved as samples. The data collection instrument used by the researchers was in the form of a scale consisting of 27 items that had been proved reliable and valid. The results showed that most alumni had a high level of satisfaction, and there was 1 model that determined an alumni satisfaction of 36.10%, namely for the professionalism of lecturers.
