Correlation between mathematic learning outcomes and self-regulated learning in the covid-19 pandemic situation

Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic brought major changes in the education field in Indonesia. The face-to-face learning system that usually dominates the school learning system has changed to an online learning system. “…In primary school kids, there is a moderate association between mathematics learning results and learning freedom (Putri et al, 2021). The findings suggest that combining face-to-face and digital classrooms improves students' learning independence and their ability to accomplish learning outcomes (Brata et al, 2021) One of the most important aspects in influencing learning outcomes is independent learning.…”

“…We set out to examine the relationships between Indonesian distance learning students' online self-regulated learning, online learning self-efficacy, and learning performance, because no previous studies have been conducted to examine these relationships among this student population. Most existing studies examined the correlation between online selfregulated learning and mathematics skills [19] or spatial abilities [20]. Existing Indonesian studies on online learning self-efficacy have only focused on its relationships with online learning behavior, for example, frequency of accessing e-learning websites [21] and course satisfaction [22] among traditional university students.…”
