Cosmic scenarios inf(R) gravity: A complete evolution

Abstract: The paper deals with f (R) gravity theory in the background of inhomogeneous FLRW-type space time model. With proper choice of the inhomogeneous metric function it is possible to have an emergent scenario for the f (R)-cosmology. Explicit form of f (R) is obtained for power law expansion. It has been shown that the present f (R) gravity model is equivalent to some particle creation mechanism in Einstein gravity. Further a complete cosmic evolution from inflation to present late time acceleration is possible wi… Show more

“…[6][7][8] The occurrence of big bounce scenario to replace the big bang singularity might be an interesting topic in the context of modified theories of gravity. Several bouncing cosmological models are presented in recent times in modified theories of gravity, such as f (R) gravity, [9][10][11][12][13][14] f (R, T) gravity, [15][16][17][18][19] teleparallel gravity, [20,21] f (Q, T) gravity, [22] f (T, B) gravity [23] modified Gauss-Bonnet gravity [24][25][26] and so on. Besides the proposal of matter bounce scenario in different modified theories of gravity, there have been many proposals for a smoothening of the slow contraction process which may include both the classical as well as quantum mechanical treatments.…”
