Creating a Tool for Assessing Domestic Violence Risk and Impact Among TANF Clients

Abstract: The Family Violence Option (FVO), a provision of the 1996 welfare legislation, allows states to waive certain program requirements for domestic violence (DV) survivors in order to protect them from danger or penalties.
