Criteria for innovative success in the Northwest Federal District under the conditions of increasing ecological requirements

Abstract

This article is devoted to the innovation activity of the regions as an analysis of one of the factors of sustainable economic development of the Russian Federation. For this purpose, it analyzes the dynamics and structure of own-produced goods shipped, works performed and services rendered in-house, including innovative ones, at the enterprises of the country’s regions. The article groups the regions and federal districts by the average annual growth coefficients of innovative goods, works, services at enterprises in the regions, which allowed to identify regional stratification by growth rate of the volume of innovative goods produced. The article provides statistical data on the analysis of the region. The analysis is carried out and a comparative characteristic of the development of the region by innovation.
