“…ABILHAND-Kids is a measure of manual ability for children with upper limb impairments [22]. The parents were asked to fill in the Ukrainian version of the questionnaire by estimating their child's performance of 20 unimanual and bimanual activities on a 3-level scale (impossible, difficult, easy) [23]. A total score is calculated and presented in the logits (the linear measure that expresses the odds of success of the patient in performing tasks) and the percentage of his/ her performance.…”

“…For each item, parents are asked to provide their perceived child’s difficulty on a three-level scale: Impossible (score 0), Difficult (score 1), or Easy (score 2) (Arnould et al., 2004). As measures of manual ability, versions of the ABILHAND-Kids are widely used in such different countries as Saudi Arabia (Alnahdi et al., 2020), Iran (Mohammadkhani-Pordanjani et al., 2020), Turkey (Şahin et al., 2020), Brazil (Kamonseki et al., 2017), Denmark (Hansen et al., 2020), and Ukraine (Hasiuk et al., 2021). Studies of the instrument’s psychometric properties in these different countries revealed ABILHAND-Kids as a valid, reliable and responsive measure for evaluating hand functioning in children with CP.…”
