Crystal structure of bis(hydroxydi(pyridin-2-yl)methanolato-κ3 N,N′,O)cobalt(III) perchlorate dihydrate, C22H22ClCoN4O10

Abstract: CCDC no.: 1565197The asymmetric unit of the title crystal structure is shown in the figure. Tables 1 and 2 contain details of the measurement method and a list of the atoms including atomic coordinates and displacement parameters. (18.4 mg, 0.1 mmol) in 3 mL MeCN with stirring. The resulting mixture was placed in the dark, and red crystals were obtained after two weeks, in a yield of 46% (based on Co). “…The central metal Co(III) ion is sixfold coordinated by two oxygen atoms and four nitrogen atoms from two HL − ligands. The cation of the title complex is same as our previous report [6]. In title complex, the bond length of Co-O is 1.8809(15) Å, and the Co-N bond distances are in the range of 1.9214(19)-1.9255(18) Å, which are in excellent agreement with those in other Co(III) complexes [7].…”
