Crystal structure of bis(triphenylphosphine)(acetato-O,O′)silver(I) — hydrate —methanol (2:1:1), [Ag(PPh3)2(CH3COO)]2 · H2O · CH3OH

Abstract: Source of materialAm ixture of AgCH 3 COO (silver acetate), PPh 3 (triphenylphosphine) and C 4H5N3 (2-AMP =2-aminopyrimidine) in molar ratio of 1:1:2 in CH 2 Cl 2 /CH 3 OH (10 ml, v/v =1/1) was stirred for 2hours at room temperature, then filtered. Subsequent slow evaporation of the filtrate resulted in the formation of colorless crystals of the title complex.
