This study investigates how the Towani Tolotang people express their religious and social values through traditional and special rituals related to their economy. This qualitative research utilises a phenomenological approach through observations, interviews, and literature studies. The findings reveal that the rituals performed by the Towani Tolotang community, such as Molalaleng, Mappaenre Inanre, Sipulung, and Mattampung, aim to obtain protection, happiness, and economic strength. These rituals involve offerings to Dēwata SeuwaE and are crucial in maintaining unity, harmony, and economic stability within the community. Through these rituals, which involve the use of new clothes and other economic activities, a significant contribution to the local economy is evident. The cultural identity displayed by the Towani Tolotang community encompasses positive values such as mutual respect, simplicity, and self-worth, which strengthen the nation's character and promote social harmony. This study contributes to understanding the socio-economic impact of traditional rituals and highlights the role of cultural practices in promoting economic resilience and social cohesion.

Background: Incidence of infection contributes to maternal mortality. Innovative efforts to treat infection in postpartum mothers continue to be made, including non-pharmacological techniques. The local wisdom of red betel leaves is believed by the community to be able to handle it. The true efficacy of this extraordinary red betel leaf deserves further investigation. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of red betel on perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. Methods: This study used the Quasi Experiment with Control Group Design method. The study was conducted on 80 postpartum mothers with perineal wounds degrees 1 to 3. 40 women were included in the intervention group who were given red betel ointment made by researchers from 2 hours to 7 days postpartum. 40 people as the control group were given perineal wound care according to standard. Assessment of wound healing was carried out every day until the 7th day postpartum. Statistical tests used the dependent and independent t-tests to examine differences in healing scores in the two study groups. Results: There was an increase in the average perineal wound healing value in the intervention group which was higher and there was an increase in the average healing value every day, starting from the first day (mean = 9.25), the second day (mean = 11.55), and the seventh day (mean = 12.65) compared to the control group, p value <0.001. On the third day postpartum, the intervention group had the maximum healing value (100%) compared to the control group (52.5%)

Javanese Surakarta wedding customs are a cultural heritage sourced from the palace, with unique procedures. Each stage has a special mechanism that contains values and meanings as a guide when the couple builds a family. This qualitative study with a phenomenological approach aims to reveal the symbolic meaning of the Panggih ceremony in Javanese Surakarta wedding customs in the Surakarta City environment. This qualitative reseach collecting data with participant observation techniques and in-depth interviews obtained from research subjects. Data analysis uses an interactive model. Data analysis is carried out interactively and continuously until complete data is obtained. The informants in this study were two people who lived in Surakarta City by profession as senior make-up artists, both of whom had long-handled the procedures for Javanese Javanese wedding ceremonies in Surakarta. The results of the study found that in the Panggih ritual, Javanese Surakarta wedding customs were included in the core series, which was carried out full of sacredness under the order, before starting with the stage of handing over the banana sanggan, nebus Mayang twins, followed by the main stages consisting of Balangan suruh, and ngidak then. This research is different from previous research. This study examines the reality of the Panggih ceremony, specifically by the rules according to the standard. The conclusion is based on the findings in the field that the Panggih ritual is a core stage carried out according to the rules. Each stage contains symbols with meaningful values as guidelines for couples getting married.
