Abstract:Diabetic neuropathy has been defined as the presence of symptoms and/or signs of peripheral nerve dysfunction in diabetics after exclusion of other causes (e.g. hereditary, traumatic, compressive, metabolic, toxic, nutritional, infectious, immune mediated, neoplastic and secondary to other systemic illnesses).
