Current status of nanotechnology in Jordan

Abstract: Purpose – The current status of nanotechnology research and development in Jordan is analyzed. In recent years, Jordanian institutions demonstrated considerable interest in the development and production of nanotechnology. Here the purpose of this paper is to provide detailed information about the status of nanotechnology in Jordan in terms of several factors that influence selectivity in nanotechnology and the number of published peer-reviewed research articles. … Show more

“…The data demonstrate explicitly that when the Pt is subjected to antimony (II), its capacitance at the interface is increased. In the event of adsorption on the electrode surface, this finding is in line with the literature (Alshamaileh et al, 2016). As part of an optimized process that results in electrolytic reduction of the heavy metal in the changed coating, we offer empirical evidence for the Sb (II) ad absorption on the ground.…”

“…Public institutions account for about 97% of the total published articles, while private institutions contribute to the rest. The University of Jordan and Jordan University of Science and Technology were the pioneers in the field of nanotechnology with more than half the total published articles (Alshamaileh et al, 2016).…”
