Thus it is imperative to surmount the diagnostic dilemma by excluding simulating clinical conditions such as small‐nodular sarcoidosis, 12,13 granulomatous rosacea, 14,15 lupoid/granulomatous periorificial dermatitis, steroid dermatitisresembling rosacea, 16 perioral dermatitis, 17,18 acne vulgaris, polymorphous light eruption, seborrheic dermatitis, eruptive forms of syringomas, and multiple trichoepithelioma.
