“…As to whether to incise and suture at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock directions during surgery, most scholars propose to keep away from the two directions to avoid injuring ciliary body nerves and blood vessels [14]. But there are also reports showing that incision in the two directions did not cause obvious surgical complications and in our study we also found some patients being cut at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock direction did not suffer obvious bleeding or other complications, so we propose that 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock directions are not surgical "forbidden zone".…”
