Cyclometalated ruthenium(ii) complexes with bis(benzimidazolyl)benzene for dye-sensitized solar cells

Abstract: The length of alkyl chains on the benzimidazole rings of cyclometalated ruthenium dyes is critical to the DSSC performance.
