“…Bezüglich der näheren Typisierung der Blästen können zytochemische Methoden weiterhelfen, die sich bei der Klassifizierung der einzelnen Formen unreifzelliger Leukosen bewährt haben [1, 10,12,13,16,19 (dort weitere Lit. ), 20,25].…”

The case is reported of a 25-year-old male patient who died of an acute blastocytosis after suffering for 4 years from osteomyelosclerosis. Cytochemical examination of the pathological blood cells revealed a pattern differing from all closely defined forms of haematoblastosis with immature cells, so that it was not possible to ascribe the blastocytes to a particular cell series. The possibility is discussed of their being a genetically non-homogeneous cell population, made up of undifferentiated white and red forms.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
