Several studies found conflicting results for occupational exposure to styrene [Anwar and Shamy, 1995;Van Hummelen et al, 1994;Tates et al, 1994] and to PAHs in soot [Holmen, 1994;Carstensen et al, 1993;Van Hummelen et al, 1993]. Inconsistencies in results may be attributable to different assay methods, exposure levels, choice of comparison group and control of confounders.…”
