“…The theme elevated self-esteem fosters positive QOL surfaced in this concept analysis as a theme for a variety of reasons. Self-esteem was found to be in some fashion in most QOL definitions and QOL scales such as the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale (Fitts & Warren, as cited in Neuman & Reiter, 2017) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment-Brief Instrument measure of self-esteem (Kwak, Amrhein, Barkhoff, & Heiby, 2015;Skevington & Bohnke, 2018).
