The article continues the authors' series of articles on defects and damages of industrial buildings. Here are descriptions of typical damage to roofing: rolled waterproofing carpet, metal coverings, parapets and aprons, light-aerating lanterns, glazing and storm sewer system. As in previous articles, a description of the damage, causes of occurrence, possible consequences during development, a recommended assessment of the technical condition of the structure and recommendations for elimination are given. The article also provides a generalized analysis of the causes of defects and the most likely areas of damage formation.
