De verkwisting van het menselijk kapitaal van vrouwen in de geneeskundegeneeskunde vrouwelijke huisarts wetenschap

Abstract: Regelmatig verbaas ik mij over de wonderlijke tegenstelling tussen de verhalen over een schrijnend artsentekort enerzijds en de verkwisting van menselijk kapitaal van vooral vrouwelijke artsen anderzijds. Terwijl het veld schreeuwt om gemotiveerde artsen en de betekenis van inspirerende rolvoorbeelden genoegzaam bekend is, zie ik in mijn omgeving, de academische geneeskunde, tal van getalenteerde, hoogopgeleide collegae afknappen of afhaken.
