Deformation potential theory for optical and acoustic phonons in PbSe‐Like semiconductors

Abstract: The matrix elements of electron-phonon nonpolar interaction in PbSe-like band structures is given for optical and acoustic phonons in the deformation potential approximation. Nonparabolicity and nonsphericity of conduction and valence bands (two-band Kane model) are taken into account giving nonvanishing electron-optical-phonon nonpolar interaction and changing considerably the standard electron-acoustic-phonon matrix element,.Pour la structure des bandes du type de PbSe on a calculb les elements de matrice de… Show more
