Dehydration and Rehydration of Saponite and Vermiculite

Abstract: Abstract--The rehydration properties and behavior of interlayer cations of Ca-, Mg-, Na-, and K-saturated homoionic saponite and vermiculite heated at various temperatures were examined and their rehydration mechanisms elucidated.
