“…The dominance-based malacological analyses resulted in 6 malacological zones (MZs) of 3450 specimens of 51 terrestrial and freshwater snail and clam taxa from 52 samples (Hupuczi et al, 2010;Molnár, 2015). Now, these malacological zones have supplemented with additional data, such as richness, ratio of open vegetation preferring (steppe), shade-loving, temporary flooding, stagnant and moving water species, and the dominance-based cluster analysis (Fig.…”

“…MZ3 (1500-1450 cm): In this short-term zone, which lays in the uppermost part of the floodplain loess layer, the freshwater species disappeared and terrestrial species become dominant, while the richness decreased below 10 species per sample. The ratio of shade-loving species broke away (over 40%) besides mesophilous and cold-resistant hygrophilous and sub-hygrophilous (Hupuczi et al, 2010;Molnár, 2015) species. These fauna changes indicated a permanently non-flooded area with increased tree cover, such as an upland forest.…”

“…A Közép-és Dél-Európában élő kuvik táplálék összetételéről viszonylag kevés vizsgálati eredmény áll rendelkezésre (BROOKS, 1992;MIKKOLA,1992). A hazai kutatások többségében csak kisemlős-faunisztikai szempontból elemezték táplálékát (MARIÁN ÉS SCHMIDT, 1967;MOLNÁR, 1984;ANDRÉSI ÉS SÓDOR, 1986).…”
