Dependence of dynamic contour and Goldmann applanation tonometries on peripheral corneal thickness

Abstract: DCT and GAT measurements are conditioned by PCT though this effect, rather than linear, follows a 2-degree polynomial pattern.

“…Goldmann applanation tonometry (GAT) remains widely regarded as the gold standard method of IOP measurement [ 6 , 11 , 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 ], but a range of newer devices are available including non-contact tonometry (NCT), rebound tonometry (RT) and dynamic contour tonometry (DCT) [ 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 11 , 16 , 17 , 18 , 19 , 20 , 21 , 22 , 23 , 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 ].
