Depressive Symptomatology in Three Latino Groups

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine depressive symptomatology in three Latino groups: Mexicans living in Mexico City, Latino immigrants living in the South Bay area of San Francisco, and Puerto Ricans living on the island of Puerto Rico. The Spanish version of the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) was used as part of a larger study on stress and coping.
