Depressive symptoms and anxiety in intensive care unit (ICU) survivors after ICU discharge

Abstract: Background Intensive care unit (ICU) survivors face complex physical, cognitive, and psychological sequelae that can negatively impact their health-related quality of life. To date, the association between ICU survivors’ psychological sequelae, individual care needs, and discharge disposition has not been evaluated.
