Description of Ciplukan Toxicity (Physalis angulata L.)

Abstract: As a traditional medicine by people in Indonesia, the parts of the ciplukan plant that are commonly used are the roots, stems, fruit, and leaves. 2 The medicinal power possessed by these plants is related to the content of secondary metabolites, among others, ciplukan leaves are reported to contain saponins, alkaloids, and steroids.
