Design and analysis of a novel topology for slotless brushless DC (BLDC) motors with enhanced torque and efficiency

Abstract: A novel high-torque slotless brushless DC (BLDC) motor is proposed. The proposed topology has a unique concentrated winding structure and accordingly the motor design is effectively modified with its dual-rotor structure.
