Design and implementation of wireless monitoring network for temperature-humidity measurement

Abstract: In order to overcome the shortcomings of existing wireless temperature-humidity monitoring systems, such as high-energy consumption, poor man-machine interaction, differential interference and no reverse real-time control etc., a novel real-time temperature-humidity monitoring system based on short distance wireless microwave communication is designed. In addition, some intelligent algorithms are briefly introduced in wireless communication for frequency assignment, improving energy efficiency and other resour… Show more

“…The system proved scalable and automated in wirelessly sending the sensor data over a considerable long range. Similarly, Guan et al [15] designed and implemented a short-range wireless communication-based real-time THMS in the agricultural and industrial sectors. The research work introduced an algorithm that intelligently assigned frequency, reduced energy consumption, and solved resource allocation issues.…”

“…With the development of computer network and intelligent automation technology, automatic and precise monitoring of greenhouse environment information has become an important means of facility agriculture. In recent years, the traditional motoring method collected data by the lower computer send data to the host computer through the serial port, then releasing controlling instruction [2]. This kind of monitoring method has many shortcomings, failing to serve multi users or extend.…”
