Design and Performance Evaluation of GPS Spoofing Signal Detection Algorithm at RF Spoofing Simulation Environment

Abstract: GPS was developed for military purposes in the United States, and is a representative global navigation satellite system (GNSS) that can be used throughout the globe. Currently, a GPS modernization project is in progress. Also, GLONASS from Russia has resumed the service through a modernization project, and it can be used throughout the globe. In addition, Galileo from EU and Beidou from China have been developed for service, and thus it is expected that various GNSS signals would be available in the future. A… Show more

“…欺骗信号码相位相对于真实信号码相位滑动的过程中会引起超前、即时、滞后支路相关输出值的 异常变化. 鉴于此, Lim 等 [34] 提出了一种基于跟踪环路相关输出异常检测的欺骗检测方法, 该方法复 杂度低, 但当欺骗信号码相位和真实信号码相位逐渐远离时该方法将失效.…”

“…In general, wireless positioning techniques, including the time of signal arrival (TOA) ( Lim et al., 2021 ), time difference of signal arrival (TDOA) ( Bottigliero et al, 2021 ; Sadhukhan & Das, 2009 ), angle of arrival (AOA) ( Al-Sadoon et al, 2020 ), and RSSI fingerprint-based techniques, affect the efficiency of the positioning systems. The aforementioned techniques are based on different measurements, namely the received signal strength indicator (RSSI), and time of flight (TOF).…”

“…Others have suggested a spoofing detection method that takes advantage of spatial information using a single difference in the carrier phase between two antennas (Montgomery et al 2009, Psiaki et al 2014. Additionally, various detection methods are researched (Konovaltsev et al 2013, JafarniaJahromi et al 2015, Lim et al 2015, Radin et al 2015. However, detection and mitigation are passive methods to deal with spoofing attacks.…”
