Design, Fabrication and Characterization of in-Plane Titanium Microneedles for Transdermal Drug Delivery

Abstract: Transdermal drug delivery is an alternative way to transport drugs compared with oral route and hypodermic injection. The problem of oral route is the degradation of drugs in the gastrointestinal tract and their elimination through the liver.
